Monday Meditation~Love and Kindness

Wow!!! What a week it has been. I'm not going to get all political here, I don't think it's the place. However, regardless of who you voted for or didn't; I hope that you can agree that the events of this past week have been horrifying.


As I prepared a meditation for this week, I found myself quickly changing the plan. I opted to offer a Metta Meditation, also called a Love and Kindness Meditation.


Take some time to join me in sending good thoughts to yourself and to the world. I think we could all use some Love and Kindness right about now.

After you practice meditating today, take some time to be with your thoughts/feelings. There is no right or wrong way to feel. It's okay to feel all the feels.

I know we all want to know what's going on and might be glued to the TV and Social sites all day. Try to take some time to unplug. It will be help your mind, body, and spirit to just let it be for a bit.
