Service Description

Release and Renew Yin Yoga is a way of working our deep tissues and keeping our joints healthy. It is also a deeply meditative practice as the poses are held for longer periods of time, often supported by props. Yin teaches you how to really listen, you don't get the opportunity to go in and out, jump around and find a distracted version of stillness within your practice. Yin is a great compliment to other styles of yoga. It asks you to learn to "be" and to "accept what is" in that moment. This can be a challenging form of yoga as we struggle to still our body and our mind, but once this challenge is overcome, there is a wonderful feeling of stillness and peace. Yoga Nidra Yoga Nidra or Yogic Sleep is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping, like the "going to sleep stage" typically induced by a guided meditation.
